Akar Group was first established  by Ziad Al Zaim in Beirut on 1996  with a focus in developing and managing industrial development and soon expanded to other countries under the same trade name AKAR embarking major real estate  developments with total with invested capital of  $50 million ,BUA under management reached 400,000 sqm  in 2012 and a workforce of 60 employees and an has successfully lead the creation of a private equity in the MENA region by investing in land and properties  positioning  it as one of the largest players in the market.
 
Leveraging on its past experience in the Levant, Akar Group opened its first subsidiary in Riyadh in 2013 to serve the Saudi Market which has a high demand for quality homes and soon expanded to Turkey by establishing its 5 th subsidiary in Istanbul in 2015.

Akar Group is a fully owned subsidiary of ALZAIM HOLDING, a multi-national group based and registered in Riyadh with vast proven investments across the Middle East.
